Rachel & Adam's Wedding cake.

Another one of my cakes - this time a single tier fruit cake.

This was for a small wedding (hence the single tier).

Decorated with white fondant, white roses and lilac fressias.

These flowers were handmade 'sugar craft' (somewhat hastily made I recall, this bride changed her mind about the flowers with only weeks to go - and by then I had already made the pink roses which she had initially chosen - but then she is my oldest friend, having known her since I was 6!).

You may notice the ladybird on the cake too - this is something I often add to my cakes made with 'sugar craft flowers', by way of a signature.
